This Bank Holiday passed we were graced with the sun, so it was the perfect day on Monday to put on a floaty dress and flip-flops for a yummy and refreshing bite to eat with the boy and our pooch Brody at my Mum and Step-Dad's house - btw if you were wondering why the grass is so green, it is because it is fake...looks good doesn't it!
The other week the lovely Charlotte from A Trend I Made Earlier and Lindsay from Ropes Of Holland attended Vogue Festival in London - which I have to admit I was a bit jealous of - and whilst there they instagrammed pictures of their hair after hitting up the braid bar...so I thought I would give it a go myself; at least I tried lol. Braids are the latest hair trend for SS13 and great for keeping hair off your face in the hot weather - I will definitely be practicing in time for my holiday in just 6 weeks time!
Keeping it cool in a floaty dress I received this elegant studded number from the lovely Bee-Jewels.com - a fashion site from Hong Kong stocking jewellery, clothes and accesories at great prices....this dress was actually from ASOS (according to the label) and I did a sneaky search online and found it on their website here for £38. Bee-Jewels have the dress here for just £26, so I would consider that a bargain!
I finished off my Bank Holiday attire with nude and gold accessories, to compliment the gold studs on the dress collar. Known to love a bargain, I picked up these studded Jelly sandals for only £5 in Primark - I even got them in black too - and the belt for £2; just what I was after for my holiday to Tenerife.
You may have also noticed the bling on my wrist, in the form of my new shamballa bracelet from cutey.co.uk. I will be putting up a review in the coming weeks and also have a red on white version worth £19 to giveaway...so keep your eyes peeled.
*Denim Batman Print Shirt - Bee-Jewels
I also wanted to quickly add some pictures of my Batman Denim shirt - also from Bee-Jewels.com - into this post. I previously wore it to the Prettylittlething.com bloggers event (read about it here) and I don't think the pictures did the print justice.
This denim shirt is such a fun print and ticks the boxes for both the comic book trend and 90's denim for SS13. It is also a bit different from what you can find on the high-street and is available in light denim too for under £25...Another reason to take a look at what Bee-Jewels.com have to offer!
