This Friday I was lucky enough to travel down to London for my photo shoot with Look Magazine for the London Fashion Week #hotrightnow competition, which I won in association with Malibu. As part of the amazing prize I will have a double page feature on my top AW13/14 fashion tips and my London Fashion Week experience, due for sale on the 1st of October, so keep your eyes out for lil ol me popping up in Look Magazine soon. I will post about my day shooting with the lovely Look team when the issue has gone on sale, as the outfit details are under wraps for now!
So, on to my first London Fashion Week experience. and what an amazing one it was! The first stop, after filling up on a hearty breakfast, was the Hellen Van Rees showroom at the Fashion Scout are at Freemasons Hall near Covent Garden. Before attending I met up with super blogger babe Megan from Whats New PussyCatt and Sade from In My Sunday Best.

Hellen Van Ree's SS14 collection showcase was an opulent texture mix of sheer and latex panels with intricate hand woven details: just stunning. I even got the chance to speak to the designer in person and ask her a few quick questions about her latest collection, which will be a great unexpected addition to my LFW write up for Look Magazine.
Next we headed down for a nosey around the infamous Somerset House, so I could see what all the LFW venue hype is about. Here I was lucky enough to be snapped by the likes of Vogue Japan and Grazia UK & Europe for my monochrome outfit and I also got to work taking some street style snaps for Motel, some of which are below, including Kavita from She Wears Fashion (far left), Lily from Llymlrs (far right), (bottom row from left to right) Megan from Whats New Pussycatt, Hannah from A Fashion Fix and Sade from In My Sunday Best.
The final part of my London Fashion Week experience took me back to Fashion Scout at the Freemasons Hall for the Ashley Isham catwalk show. With the likes of fans Jodie Harsh and the quirky blow up and latex Pandemonia in the front row, the lights dimmed and the catwalk began. Ashley Isham's SS14 collection was an elegant mix of blues, reds, purples with lace, perspex and embellished details. What a designer to see for my first LFW catwalk experience!

Although the weather was not the best the rain managed to hold out for the majority of the day. Taking some time out at the back of Somerset House the lovely Sade took some quick snaps of my outfit details for the day. Due to the overcast clouds some of the pictures are a little bit dark.
Have you been to London Fashion Week over the weekend or watched the live shows from the comfort of your own home via live streaming? I might have blistered feet from all the running around London but I will definitely be doing it again!
