Street Style: Sequins, Oversized Knits & Trainers

Street Style, also known as ‘street fashion’ is what real people are wearing ‘on the street’ and how they are interpreting the latest trends in their own way. Youth subcultures tend to be related to a street fashion style, for example Punks are known for their ripped clothing and use of safety pins whilst Hippies are identified by their love of flares, flower power and psychedelic patterns. Over the years street style has also had a growing influence on fashion designer’s collections, who often now look to street fashionistas’ to help determine the next upcoming season’s trends.

As a fashion blogger, I aspire to try and create street fashion worthy photographs and I can be found forever browsing beautiful outfit creations via browsing other blogs or scouring Pinterest for my latest fashion inspiration fix. Above are a few of my recent favourite pins that I have added to my Street Style Outfit Inspirations Board and trends for A/W that I will be incorporating into my wardrobe including my love of chunky knits, trainers and a masculine meets feminine vibe.

My favourite trainers at the moment include my Nike Air Force Ones, Adidas Gazelles, my Adidas Stan Smiths and next I want to welcome some Adidas Superstars into my footwear collection. I often find that the mens’ trainer selection from Adidas has more choice than the Womens, so for me this is the perfect place to start for finding your favourite new pair of kicks.
