THE BACKLESS SWEATER:
Off Duty Looks Part One
As a lover of dress down styles. And also being lucky enough to wear what I like to my office job. You could probably say that I spend 80% of my time wearing off duty looks, if not more. So, I thought I would do a mini series this week on off duty dressing. Starting with this fabulous backless sweater from Majorelle at Revolve, which I first wore for a recent shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks and Instagrammed the look here.

Not only is this sweater super comfy and soft, it also has an edge of “sassy”-ness to it and is the perfect jumper for adding interest to your basics wardrobe. It would also be a great piece for layering over a shirt or turtleneck when Autumn / Winter comes around.
Denim Jeans and Sweaters Are The Perfect Companions
Nothing screams off duty more than throwing on your favourite pair of denim jeans with a sweater. I tend to find that blue denim with rips or patchwork details are the best off duty denim styles. Although I love black – of course – I think that blue denim has more of a casual vibe about it. These Karen Millen patchwork skinny jeans are perfect for both off duty and evening wear – depending how you style them up. When paired with a backless sweater they make the perfect match!
Always Opt For Trainers
If you didn’t know, I am definitely a trainer kind of gal and they are my favourite go to casual shoes for comfort and off duty style. My new pair of Saucony from All Sole are the epitome of comfort. I opted for a monochrome style, which will go with more options in my wardrobe from jeans to skirts (look out for my 2nd off duty installment for this), trouser, dresses and more. I am kind of thinking that the Stan Smith vibe is dying down a bit, so I have been adding some different trainer styles to my wardrobe of late.
