Getting ‘Girly’ In A Tea Dress

If, like me, you like to browse the ‘new in’ section on ASOS on a weekly basis. You probably have already seen this beautiful blue frilled tea dress that I am wearing in today’s post. Admittedly, I am even shocked myself at how much I love this tea dress.

I tend to wear jeans or trousers and don’t see myself as a typical ‘girly’ girl – as I often feel silly wearing a dress. But with the new season on it’s way I want to experiment with more feminine styles and the tea dress is a wardrobe staple – and also popular trend piece – that I think you should all give a go in your wardrobe.

THE ART OF STACKING BRACELETS

I have always been a fan of silver jewellery for finishing off any outfit.For me, silver refines and adds an expensive air to my looks. So, it won’t come as a surprise to find out that I am a big fan of Chlobo, especially this noodle disc double heart bracelet.

As 2016 has been the year of my wedding, I went for a love themed bracelet stack. Starting with three bracelets from Chlobo’s charm bracelet collections.

I love giving gifts with thoughts behind them and bought a Chlobo bracelet as a surprise for my friend who loves them last Christmas. So I am looking forward to adding to my Chlobo bracelet stack with future Christmas and Birthday gift wish lists.

NIKE WHITE TRAINERS

Of course I styled my dress with trainers – SHOCKER  – this time in the form of a fabulously white, fly knit pair of Nike Air Presto from Size?, whose Nike trainer collection you can shop here. I have been searching for a more minimal pair of white trainers with the Scandi vibe. And I think I have found them!

Sporty but also sleek, I love how this new style (released in may 2016) is a bit more of a high-top fit, with the Presto flyknit fitting comfortable around my ankles and they even hide your white trainer socks: AMEN 🙏
