Styling Animal Print Shoes For Autumn

Animal print shoes are the perfect statement this Autumn / Winter. If you don’t like to invest in the latest trends for your clothing, then investing in key footwear pieces can update all of your outfits for the new season. Without having to spend the world on a new wardrobe, you can just treat yourself to some new shoes instead to instantly transform your look and ‘dip your toe’ in the newest trends: literally!

For today’s bumper outfit post I have collaborated with Lotus to share with you my favourite three styles from their new in section and how I will be styling them this Autumn / Winter to re-create the latest trends. Off the bat, Lotus is a brand that I would initially associate with an older crowd. But, alongside their classic and practical styles, they have some on trend beauties that, I have to say, are some of the comfiest shoes I have in my shoedrobe at the moment. And the animal in me was drawn to these three styles I am styling today and forsee plenty of wear from this Autumn.

Burgundy Croc Print Court Shoes

Burgundy is the colour of Autumn. Warm, inviting and always a winner at this time of year, maroons and dark reds never seem to go out of fashion. So, naturally, when I spotted these I instantly fell in love. But not only is the burgundy crocodile print perfect, they incorporate the very on trend block heel and update to the traditional flat / court shoe. Which, makes them practical for wearing to the office, evenings out or for casual weekends in my favourite denim, like the outfit that I have paired them with here.

Black Croc-Print Heeled Ankle Boots

Black ankle boots are always a firm footwear statement in my eyes – read why here – and that is why this beautiful croc-print pair made their way into my animal print footwear styling post. The addition of a new texture for Autumn makes this pair of ankle boots super trendy, whilst the block (not too high) heel means that I can happily pound the pavement in these all day for happy, dry and warm feet this Autumn!

Black & Grey Snake Print Loafers

Mixing things up slightly I went for a snazzy snakeskin pair of loafers for my third shoe choice. As you will know, loafers are having a HUGE comeback thanks to the likes of Gucci – See the best Gucci dupe loafers here – especially styles with horse-bit hardware or details on their lip. Which, is why I love this snake print pair of loafers that scream classic chic, with a modern on-trend twist.
