When it comes to choosing a new pair of sunglasses, I tend to opt for designer pairs, which will forever be staples in my wardrobe, over high street choices. Here’s why…

Why Designer Sunglasses and Not The High Street?

Although the high street offer a number of stylish sunglasses, you just can’t beat the quality of a pair of designer sunglasses in comparison. I personally have had some bad experiences with high street sunglasses, which is why I tend to opt for designer styles. From my RayBans to my Celine’s, designer sunglasses are a staple in my wardrobe and add a touch of class to each of my outfits. Not forgetting that they are great for no makeup days and hungover eyes!

Prada PR51TS

I went for the Prada PR51TS sunglasses as they add a touch of sophistication with their black and gold details. For me they are a more refined pair of sunglasses to update my beloved RayBan round sunglasses. I love to add gold details to my outfits with my jewellery (if you couldn’t tell from my earrings!) which makes this pair of sunglasses perfect for me. I also love the ‘eyebrow’ effect that the black frame detail adds to the top of the Prada PR51TS. What do you think of these sunglasses?

Gigi Hadid for Tommy Hilfiger

For my second pair I chose some gorgeous aviator sunglasses by supermodel Gigi Hadid for Tommy Hilfiger. Aviators are such a classic style of sunglasses that you can never go wrong with a pair. I was drawn to the tortoiseshell detailing on this pair of sunglasses, which adds something unique to their style. They also match perfectly with black and neutral outfits, which is a huge colour palette for autumn / winter this year!
