You may have noticed on my Instagram last week that I was out of the country discovering Santorini with James, my Mum and Step-Dad on the hunt for our perfect wedding location on the beautiful Greek island. Having seen a few amazing spots with equally amazing views, we have managed to whittle it down to two locations (we think!). In an upcoming post I will be writing about our day of venue hunting with our wedding planner, including some shots and our favourite places, so if you are looking to plan a wedding abroad (especially in Santorini or Greece) I hope that some of this will help you.
On the morning of our first day on the island we decided to wander from Fira (where we were staying) up to Firostefani and to be general tourists and have a nosey around, which brought us to one of our potential wedding spots – The Danas Villas – upon which this set of steps and beautiful view of the sea lead us down to (I will share pictures of the actual venue in my upcoming wedding planning post). Being a bit cooler in the mornings as it was mid-October, the sun was unexpectedly beaming down on us by lunch-time, leaving me wishing I had packed some shorts in my bag to quickly change into, although this awesome loose tailoring from Pretty Little Thing actually kept me pretty cool until we hit the poolside deck in the afternoon to get our sun on!
