At first I wasn’t too sure about wearing the Seventies trend, which is going to be huge this Spring / Summer BTW, as I was anxious that I would 1. feel uncomfortable wearing it and 2. that I would just look darn right silly. But after pushing myself out of my fashion comfort zone a little I put together an outfit styled around a beautiful pair of 70’s inspired platforms – P.S. I LOVE this pair of platform sandals too.
Aiming to put together an outfit based on matching tones: the denim shirt ties in the blue of the platforms and my Michael Kors mini bag brings in the colour of my faux leather skirt from Zara. Whilst my Lavish Alice sleeveless trench in blush compliments the nude tones in the shoes. I then topped this off with a super 70’s addition of my Paisie Teddy Bear coat, as there is still a bit of a chill in the air and I did have bare legs…brrrrrr…
The 70’s Trend is OK actually
So, after experimenting I think that I will be trying my hand at adding a bit more of a Seventies vibe to my wardrobe this Spring / Summer: one step at a time!
