Today’s post is in ode to the Results With Lucy programme and how it helped me to prepare for my wedding holiday. Both physically and mentally

MY RESULTS WITH LUCY EXPERIENCE
Although I have always practised a fitness regime on a weekly basis; mostly running and home kettle bell sessions. Twelve weeks before my wedding I decided to ramp up my exercise routine, in a bid to feel body confident for wearing a bikini in Cyprus and fitting into my wedding dress. I had heard of Results With Lucy for a while and as I am unable to make it to the gym regularly – due to getting back to my Lurcher, Brody, after work – I decided to give a home workout subscription service a try.
As my fitness levels were good to begin with – well at least I thought so – I started with the 12 week 6 Pack Abs programme that cost me around £40 (I think). Which, in comparison is similar to one month’s gym membership, but gives you twelve weeks of personal training sessions that are already compiled for you, with rest days and recipe ideas included too!
Keeping Motivated To Workout At Home
If you can afford to pay £20-30 per session with a personal trainer a couple of times a week, then hats off to you! But, as I like to be frugal with my money where possible, the fact that I could have a personal trainer in the living room with me – for practically the cost of a one-on-one session for three months – was amazing.
Personally, I don’t suffer with a lack of motivation when it comes to exercise. It is my escape from everyday life and how I manage stress and feel good about myself. But, working out at home can often become monotonous once you are repeating the same exercises over and over again. You are bound to reach a tipping point, where you stop seeing results.
Results With Lucy packages pre-plan your workouts for you and on the 6 Pack Abs plan I was given set workout combinations on set days for maximum effect. These not only challenged my ability but also led to me having a stronger body, higher levels of fitness and abs I could be proud to rock on holiday. I even lost a couple of inches off my waist too!
Exercise and Confidence Go Hand In Hand
My wedding holiday in Cyprus was the first time I can truly say I felt comfortable wearing a bikini and having my bum on show (as previously I would hide in sarongs and skirts). But not only did the Results With Lucy 12 week programme help me to reach my body goals, it also helped to boost my confidence and unleash my inner dancing lady emoji. I worked bloody hard for my holiday body and wanted to show off my hard work. So thank you Lucy and your fabulous team of trainers for pushing me to a happy place in both my mind and body.

You. Look. Incredible! I’m also a treadmill and kettle bell kinda gal, I tried the Kayla Itsiness workout guides once but I’m just not very good at keeping motivated! I might try them again soon…

Thanks Poppy! I definitely think that it is worth it. It got me in the best shape I have been in before and improved my fitness as I loved the HIIT workouts. Let me know how you find it if you give it a go. I actually searched for a student code online to be able to get it cheaper! xx
