Holiday Outfits
Being in Mexico at the Excellence Playa Mujeres resort was a dream and the best trip of my life – even trumping my wedding trip in Cyprus. We stayed for 11 nights and can’t wait to go back for our anniversary next year and I am already counting down the days!
Naturally, being on honeymoon I didn’t spend take daily outfit photos and pack a suitcase full of looks for my blog. But, I did manage to coax James into taking a few photos for me, despite him hating my Olympus Pen Camera for some reason (hence the slight blur) although I shot the sparkly top myself on the balcony and these beach photos in the purple cover up myself and I am getting better at setting up my tripod in public.

Adding A Splash of Colour
On holiday, as you can probably tell. I like to keep my outfits mainly monochrome: SURPRISE! But, on the odd occasion I like to add a splash of colour and red is my go to holiday hue. Which is why I am obsessed with the bright tomato red of this Karen Millen laser cut top and how it coordinates perfectly with my sale steal from Zara.
Summer Glitz and Glamour
To jazz up my beloved Whistles skirt I took my new TFNC London sequinned and cut out crop top, for a more dressed up evening vibe. As my skirt is high waisted, the top sat perfectly without having too much stomach on show. And I have to say, this was probably one of my favourite evening looks of the trip…apart from my third and final holiday outfit share.
The Perfect Holiday LBD
A little black dress is another holiday essential for me. In fact, it is one of my major wardrobe essentials. This frill tastic number is from Chicwish, who in my eyes, never get it wrong. To add some interest to my black dress I donned my fabulous Ego pom pom sandals, which, btw, are super comfy. Finishing off the look with plaits to stop the holiday frizz and also not have to wash my hair!
