Investing In Gucci Loafers

After dabbling with a few lookalike Gucci loafers from Mango, Topshop, River Island and Ego they re-inspired by love for wearing flat shoes. So, when I was in New York for my 30th birthday – See my New York outfits here – I decided to treat myself and invest in these slingback loafers from Gucci, which at the time were only available in the US.

I cannot say enough already how much wear I have had out of these shoes and also that they are THE comfiest pair of flat shoes I have ever owned. I know that from the fact they are the first ever pair of flat shoes to not give me a blister as the leather is so soft – A little tip I learned from Lizzy at Shot From The Street is to get rubber soles put on your loafers, which I have done and would recommend to anyone buying Gucci loafers for them to last longer – I am sure you will see these featured quite a lot this Spring / Summer on Lurchhoundloves.

Why I Love Gucci Loafer Dupes

I love Gucci loafer dupes, not only because they make the desirable Gucci style accessible to all. But, also that I think they are a great way to decide whether or not a designer investment item would be a good buy for you. I mean, if you spent over £500 on a pair of shoes and couldn’t return them, you would be pretty pissed wouldn’t you. But, if you are only spending £30 on them, that ain’t so bad.
