*This is not a Game of Thrones parody, but an article on transitional dressing for autumn*

I know we are still in summer, but before we know it the autumn months will be upon us. As far as British weather is concerned, one day I’m wearing a vest top in summer and then the next I’m reaching for a jumper of cosy jacket. So, when you think about it, it doesn’t seem so crazy to start thinking about your Autumn wardrobe now. Does it?

Transitioning Your Wardrobe From Summer to Autumn

To start preparing your wardrobe for autumn, there are a few key pieces you can purchase and start wearing now. Personally, I find the best way to search for your perfect autumnal pieces is online. It means that you can browse an array of brands for the same items (e.g. a coat, shoes, knitwear) to find the best to suit your style and budget. All from the comfort of your own home, or iPhone!

Once you have scouted your favourite new transitional pieces for your autumn wardrobe online. If you can, I find that using the CollectPlus service for delivery and returns the most useful. I don’t know about you, but I have had a few bad experiences with courier deliveries, which is why I prefer to order my items via CollectPlus when I can. As the service allows me to collect my items from a local store of my choosing at my own convenience.

With CollectPlus you can collect and return online shopping early ’til late, 7 days a week. Brands they work with include ASOS, Misguided, Warehouse and many more online retailers.

Everything I am wearing in today’s blog post and all suggestions for your autumn wardrobe is available from retailers CollectPlus work with. Picking up my parcels was easy peasy, I waited for them to all arrive at my chosen destination (a newsagents around the corner from my home) and picked them up in one go. No need to wait in at home to avoid the dreaded ‘sorry, you were out’ note!

Click here to find one of 6,000+ pick up spots for CollectPlus near you

For fuss free returns, you can take your parcels back to where you picked them up for (or another CollectPlus location) where they will be scanned and then sent back to the retailer for you. Sounds a lot easier than standing in a long post office queue right?

So if you haven’t already. The next time you order online and spot CollectPlus as a delivery option. Give it a go and let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Girrrrl, I don’t want to think about Autumn but good advice. I like your cute knit! I had a bad experience with CollectPlus the first time I used them however their customer service was spot on and they turned the situation around. I would use them again!
